This year, we launched a beta version of the Hub’s Africa EV Readiness and Impact Index, the first comprehensive assessment of the drivers and benefits of electric vehicle (EV) adoption across the entire African continent. Most major global EV outlooks contain limited Africa-specific data, which leaves decision-makers without a solid foundation for effective policy and investment to advance EVs in the region. Our index seeks to solve that by leveraging public data and innovative analysis.
