Agnes Dasewicz is Chief Investment Officer at the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) and an advisor to the Energy for Growth Hub. Agnes is a leader in development finance, with extensive expertise in identifying investment opportunities that drive sustainability and poverty reduction in emerging markets. She has advised major foundations, corporate executives, government leaders, and international investors, and is passionate about mentoring and coaching diverse, global teams. Prior to joining GEAPP, Agnes served as the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Investments at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), where she led unprecedented growth in investments and prioritized increasing capital allocations to energy, infrastructure, and nature-based solutions. Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership roles at USAID and IFC, co-founded an impact investing fund, and served on the boards of international corporations and nonprofit organizations.
