Arnab Datta leads policy implementation at Employ America and the Institute for Progress, where he oversees and integrates policy and legal analysis across each organization’s advocacy portfolio, with a particular focus on commodity market stabilization and infrastructure development.
Arnab holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary, a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, and a Juris Doctor from George Washington University Law School. He has built his expertise across government and private practice, including work on the Senate Judiciary Committee, in the Office of Senator Michael Bennet, and at the law firm Crowell & Moring LLP.
His writing has appeared in the New York Times, the Financial Times, the Washington Post, Slate, and Business Insider. He has also been a guest on Bloomberg’s Odd Lots, The Weeds, and Pitchfork Economics.
