Lauren Gilbert is a Fellow at the Energy for Growth Hub. Lauren is currently a fellow at Roots of Progress and a researcher for UK Day One. She has previously been a Research Fellow at Open Philanthropy, where she investigated new cause areas for Open Philanthropy grantmaking, a writer for Quite Interesting (the British TV show), a VR researcher at Ericsson, and an astrophysicist at UC San Diego. She holds an MA in political science and an MS in physics from UC San Diego, and a BS in physics from Caltech.
