Marli Kasdan is a former Nuclear Policy Advisor at the Energy for Growth Hub. Most recently, Marli worked in the Biden Administration as a Senior Advisor in the Office of the Special Presidential Envoy for Climate (SPEC), where she led bilateral engagement in Asia Pacific to raise climate ambition and accelerate the energy transition in the region. Before joining SPEC, Marli worked at Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), where she focused her work on MCC’s energy compacts, including the Kosovo and Nepal Compacts. Prior to MCC, Marli worked at UNDP in the Nature, Climate, and Energy Team on program design, implementation and technical support and before this spent one year at USAID in the Performance Division in the Bureau for Management. Marli holds a Masters in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, where she focused her graduate studies on climate resilience, and holds a BA in Political Science and International Development from Tulane University.
