Rushaiya Ibrahim-Tanko is the Project Director of the PPA Transparency project at the Hub. Prior to joining the Hub, Rushaiya was technical advisor for the UK-funded Strengthening Action Against Corruption Ghana where she led and managed work on beneficial ownership, transparency, and accountability. Rushaiya previously worked with the Natural Resource Governance Institute supporting the Africa Regional Office in Accra on technical support to media, civil society, and government agencies on oil, gas, and mining issues. Rushaiya holds a PLC from the Ghana School of Law, an LLB from the Mountcrest University College and a B.A. in political science and French from the University of Ghana.
